We are a small family business in the beautiful south-west Styria and call ourselves B&B Raritäten since we took over the farm together. B&B is composed of our two last names Maria Bernhart and Gerald Binder and stands for our common way of life.
The term rarities symbolizes that we have specialized away from the cultivation of conventional arable crops such as corn and cereals to specialties and rarities, especially in vegetable growing. The typical Styrian crops Steirischer Ölkürbis g.g.A. and Steirische Käferbohne g.U. have become particularly well established. Our goal is to carry these wonderful products also beyond the small-structured village borders. Besides these classics we like to try new and exotic things. Among other things, we have watermelons, various varieties of edible pumpkins, earth cherries (physalis), sweet potatoes, garden beans and various varieties of chilies in our assortment. In 2021 we participated for the first time in the provincial award of the Styrian pumpkin seed oil g.g.A. and achieved the highest number of points! We would be very happy to welcome you in our new farm store from 2022!
